Frequently asked questions.
Why do I need a home inspection before buying a home?
A home inspection gives you peace of mind and protects your investment. Even if a house looks great on the surface, there can be hidden issues—like roof damage, faulty wiring, plumbing leaks, or signs of pests—that aren’t obvious during a walk-through. Our job is to give you an unbiased, detailed report on the home’s condition so you know exactly what you’re buying. This way, you can make informed decisions, budget for future repairs, or negotiate with confidence before closing.
What is included in a home inspection?
We provide a full evaluation of the home’s major systems and components including the roof, attic, foundation, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and more. You’ll receive a detailed report with photos typically within the same day.
How long does a home inspection take?
Most inspections take 2–4 hours depending on the size, age, and condition of the property.
Do I need to be present during the inspection?
It’s not required, but we encourage you to be there — you’ll learn valuable insights about your home and can ask questions directly during the process.
Do you inspect for mold, termites, or radon?
Yes — we provide termite inspections, and Daniel’s years of experience in the restoration industry have given him a keen eye for spotting signs of mold. While we don’t provide lab testing for mold or radon, we can point you in the right direction with trusted local partners if specialized testing is needed.
What areas do you serve?
We proudly provide home inspections throughout the Treasure Valley, including Meridian, Star, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether we cover your neighborhood, just give us a call!
